Senior Design

It will be the death of me. Lesson that should be learned from all this, but I'm sure it won't: procrastination sucks.

Buying New Toothbrushes

I used to be all about getting the fanciest looking, priciest toothbrushes on the market. Now when it comes to selecting a toothbrush, I don't care. Give me the most simple one you can find.

Oh That I Were A Girl

Then I would never have to worry about whether that girl I think is cute felt the same way or not. Unsound logic? Some would argue yes.

Should I Be Worried?

It would appear that Chester the Molester found his way into my soil mechanics notes. I should really start paying more attention to what is going on in class and less time falling asleep.

Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go

Did George Michael enjoy this butt slap a little too much? Oh Andrew Ridgeley, what have you done? What may have been just another innocent "good game" to you... Well I think we all know how this story ends.

Name Change

With great power comes great responsibility. Oh... And I dropped the name on the title of my blog because I felt like it.

Celebrating 100 Posts!

The moment you have all been waiting for. I'm about to offer you all advice that will answer any and all questions you have ever had or will have in this life. I promised it would be epic so here goes...

42!

Okay, so that wasn't very original, but what I have to say from here on out I hope is. I have always considered myself very fortunate - and blessed might I add - to have met and associated with some pretty awesome people over my lifetime.

Let me begin by thanking my two faithful blog followers. Tracee, I'm sorry I can be a bit awkward at times, but I'm glad we are still friends. Underneath your self-assertive and sometimes impudent and cynical personality, there is a person who genuinely cares about others and their well being. I wish you the best in this life and encourage you not to give up on your dreams. You will make an awesome el-ed teacher and awesome mother. Justin is one lucky dude, so never forget to remind him of that.

Jill! I'm pretty sure you are the epitome of cool and just downright awesome. I honestly wonder why someone with your coolness stats even bothers to keep in touch with someone such as myself. I am very lucky indeed. I'm glad we had a chance to hang when you came down to SLC. I'm legitimately sorry about ruining our awesome silhouette picture with the random package of oreo cookies sitting on the driveway. Perhaps you could photoshop those out. And although I was seriously hoping to read a poem every day from you this month, I think I'll find a place in my heart to forgive you. Don't stop writing those poems (or making those movies for that matter; and taking awesome pictures), because if they are as good as the stuff you post on your blog, it would be shame to waste such talents.

As for everyone else. Thanks Colter, Troy, Dan, and Wes for getting me through the engineering program and leaving an occasional comment every now and then. Thank you Ga-Chan for your comment. I don't know whether you'll read this or not, but your comments are always welcome here. I will continue to stop by your blog on occasion to see whether you have updated anything or not. Thank you Unhappy Hipster (and Jill for introducing me to Unhappy Hipster) for giving me something new to read every day. I would like to thank my totally awesome family and am so glad we are all so close. And finally, thank you everyone else who I have failed to mention in this blog. There are just too many people out there who make me one of the luckiest persons to be alive. Sandimas High School football rules!

Countdown to 100 Posts

Three more to go.

The Birds

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds? Try walking down Old Main Hill after the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Just be careful not to get your eyes pecked out by the seagulls.

Champions League

The only tournament I know of where a team can celebrate a 3-2 loss.

I'm An Addict!

Latest Vinyl Purchases... (I need to stop. Typical of what an addict would say.)

1. Brand New - The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me
2. Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
3. Manchester Orchestra - Like a Virgin Losing a Child

Pre-Warped Tour 2010 Thoughts

I think this could be the best Warped Tour in years. My thoughts from what I've seen and gathered so far:

1. I've got to hand it to Motion City Soundtrack. A lot of bands who move to major labels would be above the tour. But they are going to stick it out and play a few dates. Cool beans.

2. I think the driving force behind my initial statement is that Face to Face will be playing the entire tour. That's right... Face to Face! I heard from someone once that their live performances were so good, that you'd crap in your pants just to see them again. Whether they can guster up the same muster is yet to be determined, but I wouldn't mind seeing this one.

This Is A Test

I see you...

Chase This Light With Me

It's a well known fact that Jimmy Eat World's albums Clarity, Bleed American and Futures are arguably their best work to date. So why is it that every time I crave a little Jimmy, I go to Chase This Light? It's alright, but not nearly as good as the three aforementioned titles. I think it's the stellar first track that lures me in, and a solid final three tracks that keeps me listening.

Iggy's Commercial

I don't understand it. Bunny Lamore? Why would anyone take someone who uses a stripper pseudonym seriously? Sorry Iggy's... Looks like it's Chile's tonight.
